The name Wakadogo means "for the little ones" in Swahili, the language of East Africa. Putting the children at the heart of everything that we do has been our guiding principle from the very beginning. We work closely with the local community of Acoyo village, where the school is located, to ensure that this child-centred approach is valued and practiced.
